About Us

Gold Star Sports is owned and run by siblings Charles and Olivia Timoneda. We have over 40 years combined of experience in coaching at the youth level. We have both grown up at West Kendall Optimist and started our coaching career once we aged out of youth sports.

Olivia has been coaching at West Kendall Optimist since the age of 14, winning multiple Miami Extreme and Orange Bowl competitions. Olivia is NYSCA certified. Currently she is the cheer director and head cheer coach for the West Kendall Dolphins.

Charles started coaching at West Kendall Optimist once he aged out of youth sports at the age of 16. Charles is USAA football certified. He has won multiple championships as head coach and offense of coordinator coaching Tackle Football and Flag Football. Charles has also coached Basketball and Soccer at the recreational level.
